Eligibility: Dogs 5 months and up who have completed a Day School program

Keep your dog’s skills sharp with trainer-led, structured practice days that fit your family’s schedule. No 2-week commitment needed.

What’s Included:

  • One-on-one training on your dog’s specific goals, using science-based positive reinforcement methods
  • Enrichment and confidence-building throughout the day, plus potty breaks and crate rest time
  • An update at pickup, with coaching on how to keep the skills going at home
  • Available Monday through Friday
  • Drop-off window: 8:30–9:30 AM
  • Pick-up available until 5:00 PM

This is not “daycare.” It is structured training time with professionals.

What Your Dog Works On

Scenic Trail Days build on what your dog learned in Day School. Each day is shaped around your dog’s current goals, whether that’s a refresher, a new challenge, or more practice in real-life situations.

Skills and activities may include:

  • Attending a group class with a trainer
  • Refreshing Day School skills
  • Practice around new or bigger distractions
  • Loose leash walking and recall
  • Calm, settled behavior
  • Confidence-building and enrichment
  • Next steps on The Good Manners Trail

How It Works

Since your dog has already completed Day School, getting started is simple:

  1. Choose your option. Book a single day or purchase a 10-Day Trail Pass.
  2. Drop off in the morning. Bring your dog to our Gurnee training center between 8:30 and 9:30 AM.
  3. Pick up with a plan. Get an update on your dog’s day and tips for practicing at home.
