Trail Ready Day School Drop-Off Training
Age: 1 Year and over
Drop-off training for adult dogs
Focused, trainer-led practice during the week for adult dogs working on skills from The Good Manners Trail — starting fresh, brushing up, or building confidence and reliability in real life.
What’s Included:
- Free evaluation at our Gurnee center before enrolling
- 2-week training programs, Monday through Friday
- Drop-off window: 8:30–9:30 AM
- Pick-up available until 5:00 PM
- Option to extend up to 4 consecutive weeks with package deals
- One-on-one training, enrichment, confidence-building, and rest breaks throughout the day
- Updates and take-home guidance to keep building skills at home
Please note: This is not “daycare.” It is structured training time with professionals.
What Your Dog Works On

Drop-Off Training
Adult dogs can be wonderful learners. Some are starting training for the first time, some are brushing up on skills, and some need extra support building confidence, manners, or reliability in real life.
Trail Ready Day School gives adult dogs focused trainer-led practice during the week while giving busy families a convenient way to keep progress moving.
How It Works
Every new Day School enrollment begins with a free evaluation at our Gurnee training center. This gives us the chance to meet your dog, understand your goals, and recommend the right program path.
Once enrolled, you bring your dog to our center in the morning and pick them up later in the day. While your dog is with us, our trainers work on specific skills and goals using science-based, positive reinforcement methods.
This is not daycare. It is focused, structured training time with professionals who know your dog’s plan and are working toward your goals. Your dog’s day may include one-on-one training sessions, enrichment, confidence-building, rest breaks, potty breaks, and practice around carefully chosen distractions.
This structure allows your adult dog to build momentum, develop stronger habits, and make steady progress with consistent trainer support.
What You Get
Trail Ready Day School keeps you involved in the process. At pickup, we share what your dog practiced, how they responded, and what to continue at home. We may also provide specific tips, homework, or management suggestions depending on your dog’s goals.
Our job is not just to train your dog while they are with us. Our job is to help those skills transfer back to real life with you.
